Chateau Mouton Rothchild 1983. Purple/ruby in colour. The nose has cassis, some dark cherries, cigar tobacco, slight hint of cedar and spice. On the palate, there is a lovely layering of cassis, moist earth, tobacco with light tannins. Long finish. Just the slightest mixture of dried fruit with just enough tannins.
